A quirky and unique hideaway with a private bathroom.  Stay in our unique converted bus! The bus sleeps 2 with a double bed and a private bathroom with a bath and shower (which has great views and is open to the Rangitikei River!).  Offering total privacy the bus is nestled in the bush, next to the Rangitikei river and has it’s own large, private deck, with stairs leading right down to the river.  Relax and enjoy the spectacular views and the sound of the river.

Our Riverside Deluxe guest rooms are in a separate building, next to the river and away from the main lodge for a strong dose of peach and quiet.  Each Riverside Deluxe room has it’s own ensuite bathroom with a shower.

2 Available.

The 2 Treetop rooms are nestled in the bush, away from the main lodge building, with glimpses of the river. There is a large deck between the two, which is a great sun trap. They are a great place to be if you want to be right in nature and enjoy the sounds of the river and native birds.  Each Treetop Deluxe room has it’s own ensuite bathroom with a shower.

The view out each room’s front door is stunning, with native forest, the Rangitikei River, and opposite, a waterfall that cascades several hundred feet down to the river.  Rooms 5 & 6 have an extra single bed, so can accommodate 3 people (additional charge).

For adventuring families, or just a group of friends, we also have a larger family room. With a private bathroom, king sized bed, and two sets of bunks, this room can be a great hideaway for a night or two if you are taking part in one of our family adventures.  For families with older children, we suggest you book the “Paua” Garden Deluxe ensuited room, and arrange to put the children in a bunk room next door.  A good solution for both children and adults!
