Covid-19 Policy

Below is River Valley’s Covid-19 policy, including cancellations and how we will be operating at each alert level.  This page will be updated in accordance with the current government guidelines.

COVID-19 Cancellation Policy

Specific COVID-19 Cancellations
In the event of COVID-19 Levels 4, 3 and in some instances 2, River Valley’s Cancellation Policy is:

  1. To move your booking to another date that suits both parties
  2. To credit your deposit onto a voucher
  3. If another date is not possible then a full refund will be given*

Operating Under The Covid-19 Protection Framework

My Vaccine Pass

We are looking forward to welcoming guests to the lodge this Summer, however, under the government’s COVID-19 protection framework, from December 3rd 2021, all guests visiting River Valley will be required to present their My Vaccine Pass. Our staff will ask to scan your pass prior to checking in for any accommodation or activities, or entering the bar, restaurant or any lodge buildings.

Please be kind to our staff, and do not be offended if you are asked to leave if you are unable to present a valid My Vaccine Pass. We appreciate your cooperation as we adapt the way we operate to comply with the ever-changing government regulations under the new traffic light system.
 
If you have a booking that you would like to change or cancel then please get in touch and we will help you out.

If you show COVID-19 Symptoms

1. If you show COVID-19 symptoms before your visit to River Valley we ask that you postpone your booking for the safety of our staff and other guests.

2.  If you show COVID-19 symptoms while at River Valley we ask that you notify a staff member so they can guide you through the next steps to take.

All visitors to River Valley should scan in using our QR code, or sign in manually, for contact tracing.
